9/6/07 - Well, as far as I know, the sale of our Bear Creek is moving forward. The buyers have 10 days to have it inspected and checked out to be sure they want to purchase. We're still scheduled to close on the 21st. We're scheduled to move in to the new house ont he 15th!!! CAN'T WAIT!!!
8/30/07 - AM Realtor phoned last night. Our potential buyers came up to our bottom price. Not what we'd like, but in today's flat market, maybe more than we can get later if we turn it down. Interesting twist though, these buyers are not the ones that looked twice last week. These buyers are the first young couple that looked at the house the day we put it on the market. BUT, yesterday, the potential buyers that looked twice last week also made an offer. Now it's where the young couple started, but we told the realtor if they come up higher than the young couple we'll take that offer!!! Please continue to keep us in your prayers - that one of these deals will come to fruition!!! Thanks.
8/28/07 - Realtor emailed last night. Our potential buyers came up, but not quite as high as we would like. We've asked our realtor to suggest we split the difference from where we are and close the deal. Hopefully, they will accept and if all goes well with the inspection, we'll close on the 21st of September.
8/27/07 AM - We received the offer on Saturday morning. It was lower than we can accept, and we've countered (on Sunday). Hopefully they expected that and will accept our counter. Please keep it a matter of prayer as God bring us to mind. Thank you!!!
8/24/07 PM - Our realtor emailed me this afternoon and said he was contacted by another realtor that promises a contract forthcoming tomorrow!!! Keep those prayers coming that it will be one we can live with!!! We soooooooooooo need to sell the Bear Creek House. I'll keep you posted. Thanks.
